Shoes, belts and purses that go together should always be in the same color. The two basic colors you must have are black and brown. The rules for mixing colors and patterns still stand when it comes to acessories.

Boots are winter essentials, but you can also wear them when the temperature is mild.

Belts need to be simple. They should not be the main attraction of your outfit.

Purses should be simple and practical for your everyday life. For the night out they should still be practical, but they can be a little fancier to add to your outfit.

These are two classic shoes that you should have. You can wear them to the office and go from there to a night on the town.

Another classic...there's enough room for all your documents in this zippered wallet...and a few phone numbers as well! Besides, it can be used as a purse in your night out.

Strap sandals are a luxury...indulge yourself!

Here comes the other stuff...Choose sunglasses like you choose your dentist: be aware of what mistakes can do. Sunglasses need to match your outfit, so choose a classic one that goes with everything...unless you have enough money to afford a sunglass collection, of course.

For jewelry, once again stick to the basics. Don't go for anything too fancy or too big. These are supposed to be accessories, not your whole outfit. Only use necklaces if you're baring enough skin to show them and if your outfit doesn't have a fancy design.

When using a necklace, opt for really small earrings. If you're baring your shoulders and not wearing a necklace, go for long earrings (not too long!). Do not cluster yourself with jewelry. Be careful with bracelets and rings, bracelets and necklace, and so on.

Only mix gold and silver if you're mixing them all the way (about the same proportion of each). Only mix either silver or either gold with stones. And don't mix more than two stones.

In regards to hats, gloves and etc, the rule is still the same: keep it simple and clean. Accessories only add to your outfit, they are not the outfit per se.
